The  Journal of ASIAN Behavioural Studies (jABs), a reputable international journal with a growing audience, is a multidisciplinary Open Access Journal which adheres to the BOAI definition of open access: that users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles.

Published in 2016, the jABs is one of the peer-reviewed open-access journals of the Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER).

The jABs publishes double-blind peer-review, original multi-disciplinary social science research articles on the physiology and psychology aspects in relation to human behaviour affecting the Asian communities living either in their homelands or in other countries.

Areas of focus include but are not limited to matters affecting Communications and Social media; Gadget usage; Health and well-being; Human mind; Leisure, Recreation, Sports, Travelling and Walking; Race; Recycling and Waste management.

Beginning 2019 the Journal is published THREE times a year (Jan/Apr, May/Aug, Sep/Dec).

Successful articles published had attained an equivalent minimum score of 90% for the English Language and Similarity Index (Plagiarism) of not more than 15%, based on Grammarly.
Articles should be about 4,500 words (excluding References) to be submitted as per the Journal Template, together with the Publishing Agreement and non-refundable Article Processing & Publication Fees @ USD300.00 per article.
Commencing 2019 the jABs are published three times annually.

Archival System
LOCKSS (an acronym for "Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe") is a peer-to-peer open-source software program and distributed digital preservation system developed by Stanford University Libraries.
The PKP (Public Knowledge Project) works extensively with LOCKSS. It operates its own Private LOCKSS Network (PKP PN) specifically to digitally preserve journals published using Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Consequently, this journal  utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. It permits those librarisuch, es to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
